AGO (Alfred Nii Tettey Tetteh) is a vital and awe-inspiring master drummer from Nungua in Southern Ghana. To see him perform is to witness a display of invigorating power and vitality, and a genuine love of expression through music. He describes his music as 'soul food' and it is impossible not to be touched by his passion for entertaining and his impressive talent.

Ago is not only a master drummer and percussionist, but also plays aslato, flute, and xylophone. He held the position of lead drummer with several cultural groups in Nungua including Wassa African Ensemble, Suade, and Agyenpa, before being selected by WALA to join them in 2004.
