ODAI is spirited lead vocalist, flute player and percussionist with WALA. He has been involved in various cultural groups since the age of eight, winning the prestigious National Cultural Award in 1984.

To see Odai perform is to witness a genuine love of expression through song - sharing the gift of his beautiful voice with his audiences. His playful antics and superb flute playing make him a truly versatile performer.

Odai has toured internationally with his other group Efee Noko, and travels to the UK each year to perform and conduct workshops in drumming and singing through UK based Ghanaian group Akrowa. He was also one of the original members of The Kusun Ensemble, visiting Australia with them in 2000, and again with Wala since 2001.
